POS 2: Tombant

This is one of the most popular dive sites of Menjangan. Start the dive from the beach and descend in a corridor of sand surrounded by underwater cliffs. Then take off to the East and go to its end. Swim slowly along the wall and unearth Nudibranchs, Scorpion fish and small crabs in the coral, a perfect site for macro. You will not be able to miss the Parrot fish, Angel fish, Butterfly fish and Clown fish living along this drop. White tip sharks have also been spotted on this site! Finish your dive with your safety stop over a Coral Garden. Not to be missed!

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER DIVE SITES IN THE AREA?

Eels Garden

The wall is magnificent and exposed to currents. It's at the end of the wall that we come across the most oceanic fish and sharks. By continuing after the end of the wall, we arrive on the top of the Eel garden. This is lined with magnificent Gorgonias of every color. We continue following the reef at a depth of 20 meters, we arrive on a coral slope, then, in a channel dotted with coral rocks.

Mandarin Point

Shallow dive, we start the dive at approximately 30 minutes before sunset, we will guide you to see where the Mandarin fish hide. This night dive is exceptional, on the side of the rare Mandarin fish, you will see how the abundant marine life looks like at night fall in this preserved area.

Snorkeling

We also organize Snorkeling Day Trips to Menjangan/Pemuteran. Snorkeling is as well extremely advised in this area given the quality of the dives. Snorkeling is one of the easiest and open to families, no current and the clarity of the water offers the possibility to admire corals of all shapes and colors as well as Sea Turtles directly from the surface.

The North West of Bali is renown for the preserved marine park of Menjangan. This is the ideal place to enjoy the magnificent underwater world. The park has a privileged protection given that there is an entrance fee that allows the government to keep this exceptional environment. We offer to dive in plenty different sites, from the discovery of wonderful corals and the life that this preserved area thrives. It is possible to dive in canyon, coral garden and enjoy drift dives effortless. There are also a lot of macro sites for tiny species lovers, the fauna is abundant and the best you can imagine. It is also possible to do some muck dives outside the parc that are as well full of life. All of this area is characterized by clear blue water that offers an incredible visibility on the white sand… This is the perfect place for diving!

Schedule for Pemuteran Day Trip:

Pick-up at your accommodation in the morning

Once arrived at the dive center, try on your diving equipment + briefing/instructions

Embark for 25 minutes boat ride to Menjangan Marine Park

Set off for your 1st dive on Temple Wall or Bat Cave

Interval time and lunch break on Menjangan island

Interval time on the beach (tea/coffee provided)

2nd dive on POS II or Eels Garden

Way back to the dive center, wrapped up the day

Leaving Pemuteran and return to your hotel
